LionScrollbars is a small utility that puts control of Mac OS X 10.7’s scrollbars back in your hands.
System Preferences in Lion only allows for configuring scrollbars globally. But one setting that applies to all applications does not reflect that for some tasks seeing/not seeing a scrollbar can be crucial (such as always showing a scrollbar for programs where you edit text/code vs. hiding it for web surfing). For those times when you wish you could change the system default for certain applications, now you can! LionScrollbars allows you to configure scrollbar settings on a per-application basis, so you never need to be frustrated by this again.
